Download a repository artifact

Retrieves a short-lived redirect URL for downloading an artifact archive from a repository. Use owner, repo, and artifact_id to identify the repository and artifact; the download URL expires after one minute. Send archive_format as zip, and use an OAuth token or personal access token (classic) with the repo scope.

The account owner of the repository. The name is not case sensitive.

The repository name without the `.git` extension. The name is not case sensitive.

The unique identifier of the artifact to download.

The archive format for the download. Must be `zip`.

2 status codes
302Returns a redirect with a `Location` header containing a download URL that expires after one minute.
410Returned when the artifact archive is no longer available.

Error handling

A 410 is returned when the artifact archive is no longer available. The artifact_id path parameter must identify an available artifact, and the archive_format path parameter must be zip; OAuth tokens and personal access tokens (classic) need the repo scope.
